Drink options at Playas de Rosarito are equally impressive. The micheladas are described as “bomb,” offering a refreshing kick to elevate your meal. “ I only ever get their cheviche and aguachile, and they, absolutely, never disappoint. The ceviche has a nice acidity, but the lemon juice is not overpowering, the vegetables are fresh, and their aguacate is always delicious. Their horchata seems to be less sweet than many other places, which I appreciate so much. Their agua de Jamaica is also tasty without tasting like nasty sugar water. The shrimp in the aguachile is also cooked with lime, but it is more cooked through than other places. Personally, I like it more cooked than raw. It has a nice spicy-ness without being rendered inedable, which is nice for us folk who can't eat chile with a hint of food and instead have food with chile. Love this place. Always a favorite among the family. ”
“ Great real Mexican specialty meat. ”
“ Went to drop of sister at Fresno . We googled best restaurants near us and came up on “playas de rosarito” . Reviews don’t lie; food is spectacular; along with the micheladas. Our server was fairly new so service wasn’t the best with timing or checking in . But the food is so good it’s not a big deal. Must try! Won’t be disappointed. ”
“ Some of the best sea food in the valley! This hidden gem has a modest esthetic but the food is phenomenal! Always fresh and generous portions. Staff is always sweet and attentive. I love the shrimp tostadas but you can't go wrong no matter what you order. ”
“ Michelada was bomb, and food was delicious. Exceptional service. And homemade corn tortillas. ”
“ Real deal Mexican food. Fresh and flavourful. English is the second language, but our hostess couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. ”
“ Everything was amazing. All the food, drinks, salsas were homemade and there was no doubt about it. Perfect lunch stop. The shop did look closed from the outside but it’s open! The dining area and toilets were also very clean. ”
“ This js my 3rd visit. Great food, friendly service, my new favorite spot! ”
